Cloud Solutions: common questions
How much does a cloud migration cost?
Migration project cost scales with workload count and complexity, but the number that matters more is the recurring run rate afterward. We model twelve months of projected cloud spend during assessment so there are no surprises on the third invoice.
Is the cloud cheaper than on-premises?
Sometimes. Variable workloads, disaster recovery, and anything you'd otherwise buy hardware for in a hurry usually favor cloud. Steady twenty-four-hour workloads frequently do not. It's a workload-by-workload answer.
Can we run a hybrid environment?
Yes, and most Wyoming organizations we work with should. Identity, networking, and backup are the three areas that need deliberate design to make hybrid work rather than just coexist.
